Advanced Design Project (ADP)
The aim of this research project is to design and build an interactive range map specifically for battery electric short-haul aircraft. This will involve establishing a performance database of current and future battery electric aircraft, which can then be used by the range generator. The range map should consider all factors (such as temperature, battery stress and strain due to different approach and departure patterns, degradation over time) that influence the actual operation range of future electric aircraft. The range should be displayed as an isochrone map originating from an arbitrary starting point. The overall goal is to use the tool to get a better sense of how far electric aircraft can actually fly and what flight patterns would be possible.

Advanced Design Project (ADP)
In this project, your first task is to set up the new Crazyflie UAVs, including radio control, and the new indoor positioning system. Next, the system will be tested. The included control interfaces and SDKs are to be used to perform automated flights following predefined waypoints. Finally, the real-time capability of the new system is to be tested, by executing a scenario with a dynamically altered route.
