Degree Aerospace Engineering

The importance of aviation in the context of passenger and freight transport has steadily increased in recent years and public interest in this subject has also grown steadily. This advancing development has led to the fact that even today the existing capacities and technical possibilities of air transport no longer adequately meet the requirements and that solutions must therefore be found for a wide range of problem areas.

Since Darmstadt is not only home to Germany's largest airport but also to Germany's largest airline and the German Air Traffic Control, the TU Darmstadt has been making a decisive contribution for more than a century so that effective and efficient solutions can be developed for the problem areas that have arisen in the future. For more than 25 years these activities have been bundled in the Working Group Air Traffic (AKL), which was founded especially for this purpose.
