Student Assistant (m/w/d) – Development Support for the AI for Concurrent Engineering (AI4CE) project

Background:

As part of the ongoing research in the Concurrent Engineering Lab of FSR, the open source AI4CE project needs support for programming and project administration. The tasks can vary depended on the interests of the HiWi, but will mainly including Python programming.

Your tasks include:

  • Development of the AI4CE project
  • Code maintenance (test, documentation, code integration)
  • AI related tasks possible
  • Support of on-ging research activities
  • Code support for Bachelor, Master ADP students

Prerequisites:

  • Reliability, diligent work style and good communication skills
  • Good command of German and English
  • Knowledge in the space domain is advantageous
  • Provable experience in Linux systemadministration and Python
  • Experience with Docker and AI (especially RL/DRL) is advantageous

Information & Application:

  • Flexible working hours at 30-40h per month
  • Start: as soon as possible
  • We meet weekly Wednesday afternoon with the whole AI4CE team, but the tasks can be carried out remotely as well. We use Element and GitLab.
