Coming from the Autobahn A5 (Frankfurt – Basel) or from the A67 (Wiesbaden – Mannheim) take exit Darmstadt-Stadtmitte. Then follow the road signs to “TU-Lichtwiese”.

From the Rhein-Main-Airport Frankfurt:
Take the Autobahn A5 towards Basel (see above, travel time approx. 25 min).
Various ICE, IC/EC, RE and RB trains stop at Darmstadt main train station (station name “Darmstadt Hauptbahnhof”). Time tables can be found on the website of Deutsche Bahn. From the main station, tram 2 runs directly to the station “TU-Lichtwiese/Campus“ (terminal stop, travel time approx. 20 min).
From Frankfurt Airport (FRA):
The shuttle bus “AirLiner” departs from terminal 1 (stand 14) and terminal 2 of the airport to Darmstadt main station every 30 minutes (more information). From there see above. Overall travel time approx. one hour.
From Frankfurt main station (Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof):
From Frankfurt main train station, there is a direct connection with the VIA RB 82 (Odenwaldbahn) to the station ”Darmstadt TU-Lichtwiese". Travel time approx. 25 minutes.
